In-club Interclub night 07/07/2010

by Ripley Exile , Tue Feb 09, 2010 5:20 pm

Here's a new one for you that you will need to start thinking about. You need to organise yourselves into teams of up to 4 (a team sheet will appear soon at the club night although you can submit teams below as well). Each team will submit 4 images on 4 set subjects. There is a maximum limit of 1 image per subject per team. Teams will then compete against one another in an Interclub style competition on the evening of 7th July. The team with the most points at the end wins.

This is for fun, but it also gives a hint of how Interclub nights run for those members who haven't been to one. It will also be used to help select images for the 2010/2011 Interclub season.

Images are to be submitted to me by 1st July at the latest on email, CD or memory stick and files must be named in the format used for exhibition entries.

The set subjects are:
People at work
Stormy weather
Bridges
Life in the street

The images will be judged cold on the night, i.e. the judge will not have seen them prior to judging on the night.

Any questions please see me on a Wednesday or post below.

Thanks.

Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to be a judge for the night it would be greatly appreciated.

There are now 6 teams taking part. Please sign up, it doesn't matter if you think that you won't be good enough as it's just for fun and a good way to gain experience.

An extra category has been added to allow 2 open category images per team. This will make 6 images submitted per team.

Thanks all.
